Dermot Crowe: Critical Clareman who crossed great divide of the Shannon

Taken from the semi-final between Clare and Tipperary in Ennis, it shows Alan Cunningham contesting an aerial ball with Tipperary’s John McGrath. Cunningham’s hurl has wrapped itself around McGrath’s ribs, bent into a surreal shape on impact.
