The Department of Health said the number of dengue cases in the country from January to May 2026 decreased by 56% compared to the same period last year.
The Department of Health (DOH) recorded 50,727 dengue cases nationwide from January to May of this year. According to the DOH, this is 56% lower or more than half compared to the same period in 2025 when dengue cases in the country reached 114,308.
