CNN Review Finds Natalie Harp Posted 150 Pro-Trump Tweets on Jan. 6
CNN found Natalie Harp posted more than 150 tweets backing Donald Trump and echoing stolen-election claims as the Jan. 6 speech began.
A CNN review of Natalie Harp's now-removed Twitter account found she posted more than 150 tweets on January 6, 2021, urging Republicans to "FIGHT FOR TRUMP" as President Donald Trump spoke near the White House.
Harp's social media devotion to Trump dates back to at least 2016, intensifying in weeks before the Capitol events as she posted election-denial rhetoric and decried Joe Biden's victory on December 14 as "THIS IS A COUP."
Praising demonstrators as "patriots," Harp circulated false reports that Antifa had infiltrated the Capitol mob and insisted the rioters were "not Trump supporters" during and after the events.
Now a key White House aide, Harp is described by David B. Cohen, a political science professor at the University of Akron, as a "totally loyal sycophantic adviser" whom Trump favors for reverence over questioning.
Harp's Twitter account now appears suspended, with timing and responsibility for removal unclear; her posts remain a documented record of her public fealty to Trump during the Capitol events.
