A historic car recall has been announced in China: Tesla and eight other manufacturers are initiating measures affecting a total of about 4.3 million vehicles. The problem is the emergency door opening, which can make it difficult for passengers to get out and for emergency services to intervene after a serious accident or electrical system failure.
