Kentucky National Guard Upgrades Medevacs with New Black Hawk Helicopters

The new helicopters double operational range and flight time, letting crews stay on search and rescue missions longer without refueling, officials said.

FRANKFORT – Gov. Andy Beshear announced on Thursday that the Kentucky National Guard (KYNG) has upgraded its MEDEVAC aircraft to a new model, the HH-60M Black Hawk helicopter.
