October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Decatur County neighbors are using it as a reminder that breast cancer can affect anyone at any age. One in 10 new breast cancer cases in the U.S. are diagnosed in women under 45, according to the CDC. For neighbor Brooke Poitevint, that statistic is personal.
