Finally tragic in the case of the medical plane missing during a flight from the Bermuda Islands to Boston. All six persons on board are considered deceased, and the United States Coast Guard announced that they are no longer looking for survivors. On board the aircraft were four members of the medical team, one patient and the person accompanying him. Remains of the plane were found wide after disappearance.
"Setting a search is never an easy decision," says Matthew Lake. Contact with the small plane broke off on Saturday night. After 66 hours, the search was canceled.
The Coast Guard and other agencies ran more than 7,000 kilometres to find the aircraft.
