BREAKING: Man dies in US 41 wreck

PORT CHARLOTTE — A man died late Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash along U.S. 41 in Charlotte County.

Deadly crash on US-41 near Carousel Plaza shuts down lanes in Port Charlotte

The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office said there was a deadly crash in Port Charlotte on N. Tamiami Trail.The Sheriff's Office said Florida Highway Patrol is investigating and as of 10pm US-41 is down to one lane near Carousel Plaza.One land of Southbound Tamiami Trail is also closed. The Sheriff Office asks all drivers to use caution traveling through he area.
