Dead hogs spill onto Clinton highway

As most Sampsonians were preparing to lay their heads down to sleep Monday night, a ‘dead truck’ hauling hog carcasses lost a portion of its cargo on U.S. 421 near North Boulevard in Clinton, scattering the bloated animals across both lanes of traffic.
