Data breach hit Montana state court system from March to June, chief justice says
Thomson Reuters is reviewing the files and will offer 12 months of free credit monitoring after some driver’s license numbers and birth dates were found.
Officials are investigating a data breach of backup files in a system used by the Montana Supreme Court for appellate cases and electronic filing, according to Chief Justice Cory Swanson.
