Cypress Trees Catch Fire in Mission Hills

Firefighters put out flames in multiple cypress trees that threatened two single-family homes and vehicles in Mission Hills Saturday evening. The fire was reported at 9:06 p.m. Saturday at 15278 W. Tuba St., at Halbrent Avenue, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Jennifer Middleton.
