The attacks were carried out by highly professional and well-coordinated groups that used artificial intelligence tools and came mainly from abroad, the president of the Electoral Commission said.
"More than a thousand DDoS attacks have been recorded against Russian infrastructure involved in the electoral process," said the President of the Electoral Commission, Ella Pamfilova.
Ella Pamfilova, the chairwoman of Russia's Central Election Commission, said on Sunday that more than 1,000 waves of distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks had been launched against the country's electoral infrastructure in recent days.
