The IDF has updated its safety guidelines and restrictions following the expected stormy weather this weekend. The new guidelines went into effect at 5:00 PM and will remain in effect until Friday morning, subject to ongoing situation assessments by the Operations Division and the Ground Force.

Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir announced a curfew in the army from this evening until Friday following the arrival of Storm "Byron" in the country. It was also decided to impose an almost complete training curfew in the entire IDF and reduce the scope of activity to the required minimum.
