More contraband, unauthorized items seized at Collins Bay Institution

A little more than a week after the latest contraband seizure at Collins Bay Institution, staff have discovered more unauthorized items at the multi-level security federal prison.

(Kingston, Ontario) To round out the month of January on an even note, the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) announced a fourth seizure of contraband and unauthorized items at Collins Bay Institution.

Nearly $65,000 in contraband seized at Collins Bay

Nearly $65,000 worth of contraband was prevented from getting too far into Collins Bay Institution. Staff at the multi-level security federal institution seized items which included tobacco and marijuana, as well as cell phones and cell phone accessories.
