Crown Racing to Enter IMSA Airbnb Endurance Challenge at COTA with McMurry and Clapham
The team pairs veteran Chris McMurry with Radical Cup champion Brady Clapham as it expands into prototype endurance racing.
Crown Racing makes its IMSA Airbnb Endurance Challenge debut at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, fielding a Ligier JS P320 from May 7 through May 9.
Expanding from Radical Cup success, the organization enters the 2026 IMSA Airbnb Endurance Challenge, which introduces two-hour endurance events for LMP3 competitors replacing traditional 45-minute sprint racing.
The entry pairs veteran prototype racer Chris McMurry with Brady Clapham, the 2025 Radical Cup North America Pro 1340 Champion, combining endurance experience with recent championship momentum.
Team Manager Joey Martin emphasizes preparation and detail, saying "The appeal of this program is the seriousness behind it," while McMurry added the goal is to "learn quickly, execute cleanly."
Scheduled for Saturday, May 9, the race represents a deliberate step in Crown Racing's long-term motorsports vision, with IMSA broadcasting globally on YouTube from 12:00 p.m. to 2:05 p.m. ET.
