‘Cross’: Ethan Embry Joins Cast of Season 3 as Series Regular
The eight-episode season will stream on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide, with no premiere date set.
On Friday, Deadline announced that actor Ethan Embry joined the series regular cast of Prime Video's thriller Cross for Season 3, playing Frederick, a charismatic sobriety coach known for leading with tough love.
Production on Season 3 began Monday in Toronto, Canada, for the Washington, DC-based crime drama following Alex Cross, a brilliant homicide detective and forensic psychologist uniquely capable of digging into criminal minds.
The eight-episode Season 3 will stream exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide, following the network's renewal announcement in March.
Creator Ben Watkins is planning for the show to run for four seasons, basing his long-term vision on the Alex Cross book series to pay homage to the characters and their stories.
Season 3 will likely feature Aldis Hodge reprising the title role of Alex Cross, alongside Isaiah Mustafa as John Sampson and Samantha Walkes as Elle Monteiro, expanding the high-stakes world of the iconic character.
