Netflix Renews 'Crew Girl' for Season 2
Netflix renewed the teen sports drama after it drew 11.3 million views in its second week and 5.2 million in its first four days.
- On Tuesday, Netflix announced the renewal of its YA drama Crew Girl for a second season, following the show's strong global viewership performance since its September 10 premiere.
- The series garnered 11.3 million views during the week of September 14-20, more than doubling its initial performance and reaching the top 10 in more than 90 countries with over 16 million total views.
- Written by Vivian Lin, the show stars Miku Martineau as Teagan Tao, a 16-year-old who becomes coxswain of a "notoriously dysfunctional" boys' rowing team at an elite East Coast Prep School.
