Crash on I-59 leads to one dead

A Lumberton man was pronounced dead following a fatal crash that occurred on Saturday, September 19, around 1:00 p.m.   Danny Breaux Jr., 51, of Lumberton, Mississippi, was driving a 2019 GMC Sierra on I-59 in Pearl River County when his vehicle left the road and collided with a tree. The Mississippi Highway Patrol arrived at the scene and declared Breaux deceased. A passenger in the vehicle was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
