Crash closes area of Hwy. 1 in San Mateo County
A crash closed Highway 1 in both directions between Lobitos Creek and Tunitas Creek in San Mateo County on Saturday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol. CHP said this is an ongoing investigation. Southbound vehicles on Highway 1 were being detoured at Lobitas Creek Road and northbound vehicles will be detoured on Tunitas Creek Road to avoid the area.
