Sudan: RSF Releases Four Journalists and Lawyer After Months in Detention in North Darfur
Nyala -- The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have released four female journalists and a lawyer in Nyala, the capital of South Darfur, after holding them for varying periods of time. Sources tell Radio Dabanga that the journalists, Dr Manahil Mustafa, Ishraqa Abdelrahman, Mawahib Ibrahim, and Zahra Mohamed El Hassan, were released alongside the lawyer, Magda Hassan Ali, after about six months in detention.
Yesterday, in Nyala, the capital of Southern Darfur, rapid support forces released a number of civilian detainees, including four women journalists and lawyers.

In the light of their participation in a workshop on women ' s rights, held in Nyala, Southern Darfur, last February, rapid support forces released a number of women journalists and activists after their arrest. Sources of Darfur24 said that among those released were Al-Ashira Abd al-Rahman, and Dr. Manhal the post of rapid support, activists were released months after the arrest appeared first on the Darfur 24 news site.
