The Cordele Watermelon Festival Parade was held on June 20. The parade began at the corner of 6th Street and 15th Avenue. The procession started at 8:30 a.m. and traveled East on 15th Avenue, finishing at Owens Street. The 2026 parade saw the return of an icon, Linda Stotsbery, who was crowned Miss Watermelon in 1950.
