A mother was sentenced to 15 days of fine for “subtraction to the fulfilment of legal obligations of care”, having left her three-year-old child in a car, in the middle of the morning, and going to a bar. The child was found crying. That figure of the abduction is a contravention, not a crime, and for this reason, article 120, paragraph 1, of the Contravention Code of La Pampa was applied to the 31-year-old parent.
