The Bureau of the Congress of Deputies has suspended on Wednesday all rights as a deputy to the former Minister of Transport José Luis Ábalos, who is in pretrial detention for the alleged collection of bites in masks contracts during the pandemic. That means that he loses his salary and that he will no longer be able to participate in votes, as he had requested. But, as the law marks, he will keep the act of deputy.
