Congo-Brazzaville: Civil Society Challenges Government on Discussions with IMF

The Congo-Brazzaville requested on 11 May 2026 a new programme of support for the International Monetary Fund (IMF), one year after the end of the first one. This agreement did not bring anything to the country, according to the Congolese coalition Publish what you are paying. The latter called on the two parties to sign a new agreement on 16 June in the coming days.
