At least six firefighters were injured in the fight against the fires of Arganil and Vila Nova de Poiares, in the district of Coimbra, one of them run over
The fire began at the beginning of the afternoon and is being fought by more than 700 operatives. The flames have already reached four councils: Vila Nova de Poiares, Lousã, Arganil and Góis.
One of the wounded is the commander of the Arganil Volunteer Firefighters.
