Following an unattended budget and revenue neutral rate public hearing, the Columbus City Council unanimously approved a $7.23 million budget for 2027. Of the total budgeted amount, $1,599,105 is slated to be collected in ad valorem taxes to supplement the city’s portion of the budget.
