Copper Mountain begins snowmaking operations ahead of 2025-26 winter season
The 2025-26 winter season is officially underway at Copper Mountain. On Wednesday, Oct. 1, Copper announced that overnight temperatures dropped low enough for the resort’s snowmaking teams to fire up the snow guns. Copper blew snow early in the morning on Wednesday before shutting off the guns as temperatures rose.
