Collision ends underage youths’ joyride near Sicamous
- Two underage youths, aged 15 and 14, took a truck from their home in Spallumcheen without their guardian's knowledge and went on a joyride.
- At around 2:30 a.m. on June 14, the youths crashed and wrote off the truck on Mara Heights Forest Service Road near Sicamous.
- After the crash, the youths sought help from a resident and were later found hiding nearby by police.
- Sicamous RCMP informed the youths' guardian about the incident and the destruction of the truck, according to Sgt. Murray McNeil.
