(KESQ) - The City Council of Coachella held on Wednesday afternoon the first of the two public hearings planned to study an ordinance that would permanently prohibit the construction of data centers and related uses within the limits of the city. Councillors approved the first reading of the ordinance. It will be presented again for a second reading on Wednesday, August 26, when it could be entered to that effect.
