CNCF Welcomes New Silver Members as Enterprises Scale AI From Training to Inference

On Monday, the Cloud Native Computing Foundation announced nine new Silver members, including telecommunications leader SoftBank Corp. and AI infrastructure provider Crusoe, reinforcing cloud native adoption momentum.
The new members reflect a broader industry shift toward production-scale AI and infrastructure efficiency. CNCF Executive Director Jonathan Bryce said, "The challenge is about getting more from the infrastructure organizations already have."
Ascendra Networks brings vertical scaling technology to Kubernetes nodes and virtual machines, enabling organizations to achieve up to 5x higher compute efficiency while reducing cloud costs by over 70% for agentic workstations.
Legora joined as the latest Silver End User member, building a multi-region AI platform on Kubernetes with engineering offices in Stockholm, New York, and London.
This cohort joins a global ecosystem of nearly 800 members and over 300,000 contributors across more than 250 projects in 190 countries, with CNCF hosting critical infrastructure including Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Envoy.
