CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are on the scene of a crash on Statesville Road involving an officer. It happened around 9PM near Alexandria Road in north Charlotte. Our cameras saw police cars escorting an ambulance carrying someone involved in that crash down I-77. Statesville Road northbound was closed off at W.T.
