Haridwar resounds with chants of "Har Har Mahadev"... but as soon as the Kanwar Yatra ended, the city was left in a garbage mess. Over 48 million Shiva devotees arrived in Haridwar over 12 days, taking a holy dip in the Ganga, collecting water, and completing the Kanwar Yatra.
