Influencer Clavicular Charged in US over Alligator Shooting
Braden Peters faces a misdemeanor reckless-discharge charge after livestream clips showed him firing at least 10 rounds at an alligator, prosecutors said.
- Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle filed charges on April 29 against influencer Braden Eric Peters, known as Clavicular, for allegedly discharging a firearm at the Francis Taylor Everglades Wildlife Management Area Boat Ramp Dock on March 26.
- A viral livestream video showed Peters and others on an airboat appearing to shoot at an alligator, prompting the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to investigate the March incident.
- Prosecutors charged Peters alongside Andrew Morales, known as The Cuban Tarzan, and Yabdiel Anibal Cotto Torres with unlawful discharge of a firearm in a public place, a misdemeanor carrying up to one year in jail.
- Peters' attorneys, Steven Kramer and Jeffrey Neiman, stated the streamer was 'following the instructions of a licensed airboat guide.' An arraignment is scheduled for May 20.
- These charges compound recent legal troubles for Peters, who was arrested in Fort Lauderdale in March on battery charges from an unrelated Osceola County incident and hospitalized last month after a suspected overdose.
