Two weeks after her election as the third deputy mayor of Bad Salzuflen, AfD local politician Sabine Reinknecht has been voted out of her honorary position. Mayor Tolkemitt (CDU) and the other non-AfD members of the city council did not want their community represented by a member of the AfD.
Economic Chamber President Barbara Thaler is also listed in the Tyrolean ÖVP as the head of the ÖVP Economic Association and vice-party leader. However, Governor Anton Mattle holds on to her, but calls for rapid reforms in the representation of interests.
