With 50,000 Signatures, Jonas Fights Against Eu Rules: 'Now It Will Be More Expensive to Be Healthy'
A citizen proposal to exempt fitness classes such as CrossFit, Spinning and Yoga from VAT has just reached 50,000 signatures.
The Danish Parliament will now consider a proposal to remove VAT on fitness, which will come into effect from the New Year. This pleases the 22-year-old from northern Jutland behind the proposal.
A citizens' proposal to maintain VAT exemption for education in movement, health and well-being, i.e. exercise in general, has reached 50,000 signatures. This is stated on borgerforslag.dk. This means that the proposal must be taken up in the Folketinget.
