Chief Justice Cho Hee-dae's father, Cho Bu-hwan, has passed away at the age of 93. It is reported that Chief Justice Cho is keeping vigil at the wake of his father, who passed away the previous day, in Pohang, North Gyeongsang Province, on the 31st. A Supreme Court official stated that Chief Justice Cho has decided not to accept condolences from the outside. Chief Justice Cho is the successor to former Supreme Court Justice Roh Tae-ak.
