<p>The Cubs activated utility man Matt Shaw from the injured list Friday and optioned outfielder Kevin Alcántara to Triple-A Iowa.</p><p>Shaw went on the injured list June 29 with a sprained left hand. He was batting .246 with four home runs, 20 RBI and a .737 OPS in 56 games at the time.
