Cherry Blossoms in Full Bloom in Okinawa: Hikanzakura, Announced by Okinawa Meteorological Observatory

[Monsoon] ○...On the 3rd, the Okinawa Meteorological Observatory announced that the specimen tree of Hikanzakura (photo provided by the observatory) at Sueyoshi Park in Shuri Sueyoshi-cho, Naha City, was in full bloom. This is two days earlier than the year before last, and one day earlier than average. There were no observations of the tree in full bloom last year.
