Chatham man charged after providing false name to police, found in breach of conditions

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Aug. 12, 2026, at approximately 11:19 p.m., police were dispatched to Standaert Drive in Chatham regarding a suspicious person. Police spoke with the male, who provided a name to officers. Through investigation, officers determined that the male had provided a false name.
