ChatGPT Space Is a Shared Hub for Work Projects and Personal AI Agents
The new tools let teams write, research and edit together as OpenAI pushes ChatGPT deeper into workplace software.
- On Tuesday at its DevDay conference in San Francisco, OpenAI unveiled ChatGPT Space, a shared workspace where teams collaborate with the chatbot and new Dots AI agents on work tasks.
- OpenAI is increasingly targeting workplace software to compete with Anthropic's Claude Cowork, evolving ChatGPT into a comprehensive productivity platform for centralized team collaboration.
- The company also launched Pages, a native document format for human-agent collaboration, and collaborative slides that users can design conversationally before exporting to PowerPoint or Google.
- To address enterprise data security concerns, OpenAI launched Private Intelligence, a system the company says 'helps businesses use frontier AI with greater confidence that their data is protected.'
- Pro, Business, and Enterprise users can access these features immediately on desktop and web, with mobile availability planned for the coming weeks.
