Internet users fear that a European Union bill will impose automated surveillance, but the text, which divides the Member States, is far from being finalised.
From the right to the left, several parties ask the Government to reject the European regulation that wants to deal with online child abuse. PSD says it is "preciated" to leave discussion.
In addition to the proposal from the Liberals, PSD and PS, all other initiatives recommended to the Government that they reject the regulation that is being negotiated in the EU and that provides for the monitoring of message platforms, with a view to combating sexual abuse of minors on the Internet
Only PS and PSD still believe that the regulation can be improved, all other parties want the Government to vote against
