The aircraft crashed this Thursday morning during a routine flight to the Rochefort military airbase, after a severe aircraft damage.
A plane crashed at the end of the runway on Thursday, October 1st at the Rochefort-Saint-Agnant airbase in Charente-Maritime. Both pilots died. An investigation is under way.
The two pilots belonged to the Charentaise-Maritime company Elixir Aircraft, which manufactures lighter and more environmentally friendly aircraft.
