Changes proposed for 170-home redevelopment of former Newport university site

Revised plans have been submitted for a major housing development on a former university site.

Irvine-based Shopoff Realty Investments has sold a 1-acre, fully entitled residential parcel in its master-planned Uptown Newport Village in Newport Beach to Shea Homes. Shopoff officials said Shea plans to build a 23-unit condominium project called Park Palm. Shopoff declined to disclose the sale price.
