The Special Comprehensive Revision (SIR) process of the electoral roll has reached its final stage in Karnataka, and so far 1.8 crore voters in Karnataka have been classified as ASDDO. This means that 1.8 crore people will be out of the electoral roll. State Chief Electoral Officer Anbukumar held a press conference and informed about this.

Large-scale verification has begun in Chandigarh as part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign to update and purify the voter list. Following the instructions of the Election Commission of India, notices are being issued to 138,070 voters in the city. Of these, 93,193, or approximately 67%, are registered voters.
