Challenger Walz Raises More Funds in Gubernatorial Campaign Reporting Period than Pillen - KFOR FM 101.5 1240 AM

Nebraska State Capitol (Jeff Motz/KFOR News)LINCOLN–(KFOR May 6)–Democratic gubernatorial candidate Lynne Walz of Fremont raised more money than incumbent and Nebraska Republican Governor Jim Pillen in the last campaign reporting period. Between April 8 and April 27, Walz raised just over $171,000, while Pillen tabbed just over $76,000. However, Pillen still has nearly $9.5 million in his campaign war chest.
