Juged at the Klessoum prison on Wednesday and Thursday, 6 and 7 May, the eight presidents of the Political Actors Consultation Group (GCAP) are being prosecuted for "armed crowding", "insurgency movement", "rebellion" and "possession of weapons of war". As they block the charges for which they face prison sentences, their lawyers believe that "the case is empty".
The hearing of the leaders of the former-Groupe de concertation des acteurs politiques (GCAP), originally scheduled for Tuesday 6 May at the Klessoum prison, has been postponed until Thursday 7 May 2026.
