The residents of Kypseli, whose houses were damaged during the passage of the metro bridge for the opening of the Line 4 tunnel, remain in a state of constant concern. This is because the residents' critical questions remain unanswered after yesterday's meeting of the Athens City Council, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure.
"The buildings, at the expense of the contractor consortium as required by the contract, will be restored to the condition they were in before the machine passed through and even better," claimed Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Nikos Tachiaos.
"Columns have been knocked down, walls have been warped."
