‘Castlevania’ team confirms 40th anniversary orchestral concerts
- To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Castlevania series, Konami is offering the original NES game for free on iOS and Android until October 24, calling it "the game that started it all."
- Debuting in 1986 in Japan, the franchise has grown to include more than 30 titles, with the Belmont clan serving as vampire hunters tirelessly battling Dracula and the forces of evil.
- Konami confirmed a trio of orchestral concerts in Tokyo, London, and LA in early 2027, alongside vinyl releases featuring the music of 1997's Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night.
- Developer Evil Empire will release Castlevania: Belmont's Curse on October 15, returning the series to 2D roots and featuring Rose Belmont, daughter of Trevor, wielding the iconic Vampire Killer whip.
- Starting tomorrow, September 26, fans can stream tracks from Castlevania Black & Red on select platforms, marking the official 40th anniversary date and expanding the celebration beyond games.
