A 52-year-old motorcyclist died in an accident on Monday morning on the Tiroler Straße (B171) in Schönwies, Tyrol (Landeck district). A 23-year-old car driver, for reasons still unknown, veered into the oncoming lane and sideswiped a small truck. The car continued on and collided head-on with the motorcyclist, who was behind the truck. The motorcyclist came to rest on an adjacent asphalt path.
