Carmel honors parks supporter with forest named in her honor

CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) — A woman who helped form a nonprofit in 1988 to support parks and urban forest development in Carmel has been honored with a forest all her own. The Carmel Clay Board of Parks and Recreation on Tuesday agreed to rename the Central Park Woodlands to Susannah H. Dillon Woods in honor of Sue Dillon. The change will happen in June.
